Lassiter Mills Park, Raleigh NC
I was in Raleigh recently and had a chance to go on a little photo excursion with Karl. We went to the Lassiter Mills Park where I planned to shoot some of my FP4 film in the GA645. Fate had other plans.
I’d had the same set of CR123 batteries in the Fuji for years and they finally gave out that morning. Well, they had given out sometime in the latter part of 2013, but I didn’t know that until that brisk February morn (Aside — it does always seem that Karl and I find photography a bit cold). With no other camera on me but my iPhone 4S, I decided to shoot a “roll.” Below are my favorites from the session.
They are unabashedly digital — captured on a phone, post-processed to hell and back. But sometimes you must embrace the media you have — the alternative would have been no imagery at all.
